The symphonic wind ensemble of the Central Coast Concert Band will play a wide array of popular and contemporary music. Our selections include theatre classics from Gilbert and Sullivan and Oliver and the screen classics of Star Trek and Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso. This concert will be a journey through music from the 16th to the 21st centuries and our Musical Director has chosen a wonderful selection of popular pieces for you to enjoy. Our concert will range from the medieval sounds of Pastime with Good Company , a ballad written in 1540 by King Henry VIII to modern day film music from Pirates of the Caribbean. Our performance will include crowd-pleasing selections from stage musicals, jazz greats, a march from the War years, works from the 20th century with medleys... |
