The Band is currently working hard for their second concert * ALL THAT JAZZ * coming up on Sunday the 17th September, 2pm at the Gosford RSL.
This is our 99th Concert on the Central Coast.
We will be performing a wide variety of music from Beauty and the Beast to Pink Panther, Chicago to Sweet Charity, as well as marches and some great jazz. Irving Berlin is widely considered one of the greatest songwriters in American history and today we present a collection of his works (The Early Years) including tunes like Alexander’s Ragtime Band that literally defined an era. We are especially proud to feature two magnificent vocal numbers, Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend and Mack the Knife. Be warned however, about a number you will know very well, Country Gardens; this favorite has been arranged for Concert Band by Percy Grainger, who set out to express his boredom with the original piece by contorting it!

We are also playing at the Gosford Rotary Gala Concert on Saturday 21 October at Central Coast Leagues Club. As always, this will be a wonderful afternoon of music by local bands and guest singers.

Tickets for the Gala concert will also be available for purchase at the All That Jazz concert.
Our final concert of the year is on Saturday 10th December. This will be the 100th concert of the Band since we began in 1989 and this concert will be a special occasion to mark this achievement.
